.:Many years ago, all the nations lived in peace, though far away from one another. Back then, there was only two nations:the lights and the darks. The darks had alust for power and every flower in their meadows drooped, and every stream was washed red with blood. The land grey and barren, the darks had nowhere else to live. They sought a place, and found the land of the lights. The lights' lands' flowers bloomed with much ferosity, and everywhere was light and peace. Churched palaces, even barricades stood, all scent with a heavenly aura of lilac. But then war broke out as the darks stormed the freshly-scented barricades, and I was forced into hiding with the other rebels:.

War broke out through both nations, and battle cries and cries of death and defeat rang out, and I became scared. Many of the rebels were forced into forever hiding, or convinced to join one of the sides, whether they wanted to or not. Blood stained every river, and carcasses lay everywhere, vultures picking at sparse meat. Many of us were killed;ver few survived the battles for land and life. That was when our gods-Vokki, Linea, Mystilivu, and Trikkian-became angry, and sought to punish the kingdom that became war.

The gods and their wrath became too terrible to endure. They were truly angry. Vokki, our goddess of nature, sent all life to the heavens, leaving us with none but dead trees and burnt grass, with muddy, dirty streams of scarce, germy water. Linea, our goddess of normality and practality, sent our nearly-dry and barren land to another dimension (or she almost did;she hardly did anything, for she was usually a klutz). Trikkian, or head god, was god of life and death. For all the ones who died in vain or lust, he sent them to the Underworld;for all the dead innocents he let them roam about in the lands above;but to us survivers he took away some of the killers' young and threw them into a deep pit which led to the Underworld's deadly lair of Narunga, the eight-headed serpant. Only Mystilivu showed pity; she was the goddess of the sky and weather. Though she was angry, she still showed sympathy. She decided that no rain or snow nor sleet or hail should ever fall for a thousand years. But she let a havy coating of mist fall upon the land. It was nearly impossible to see;the mist clouded our eyes and never went away, and at the borders of our lands, there was a wall of mist impossible to penetrate. We must still be thankful that she let us off with some source of clean water.

Now there is a rumor about, one of which brings hope. It says that there is a foal that was born who could help us; he could combat the fury of the gods' and free us;we have taken enough damage and many weep that they are sorry;that they wish to be made good again. Now we must wait, wait for the time to come, for the One to rescure us from the wrath of the gods....until then we continue with our lives, never turning back, nor ever looking back upon loved ones who were now in the Heavenly Meadows above....
What's going on right now?
The Infant Heart Plague(IHP) has spread through all the lands and is threatening to wipe out the population. The thing that starts it all is a tiny germ found in the dirty streams and water. It floods the intestines (it starts multiplying once it gets in you), causing problems with digestion. Then it quickly goes to the heart, which it does enough damage to get out and leave the victim to die or suffer. Very contagious, and effects the foals most. Adults may heal eventually, but foals can die within three days of the disease. Here are its following symptoms: Fits of coughing, diaherrea, severe stomachaches, and constant mild haert attacks. You can get rid of the disease in the coughing stage by asking for pure water from the Hoard of Health in the heavens (a fountain with disease-curing water). It comes with side-effects;the foal may become mute (not be able to speak) or be spiritually hurt, though there is a light chance of it.
